WELCOME TO MR LMHC®

Individuals and families often come to counseling when they have found themselves feeling swamped. They have often described losing touch with themselves or realized they, or a loved one, were not living in alignment with their goals and values. Participating in therapy can become one's catalyst for change in creating an enjoyable life. MR LMHC® is dedicated and committed to providing services to children, teens, young adults, Millennials and Gen Xers who experience depression or anxiety related symptoms that may include:  Excessive Worrying, Feeling Restless, Excessive Guilt,  Anger, Reckless Behavior, Panic Attacks, Rapid Heart Rate, Chest Pressure, Withdrawing from Family and Friends, Changes in Sleep Patterns or Appetite, Irritability, Persistent Sadness, Trouble Focusing and Concentrating, and Feelings of Worthlessness.

MR LMHC® is fully committed to providing professional outpatient mental health counseling utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy and Integrative Counseling approaches. MR LMHC®  is dedicated to building confidence in children, teens, young adults, Millennials and Gen Xers who want to find their own happiness, make positive decisions and be in control of their own lives by reducing social or personal barriers and by increasing their ability and motivation to work on new skills while receiving the support they need from their loved ones, family and friends. We believe that people can change and we will help you navigate your thoughts and transform the way you think and show you how to view different events in your life. We affirm the personal identities you hold and find it important to incorporate this in our work. We are passionate about helping individuals cope with life's daily challenges.

When choosing a therapist, you should feel comfortable and be confident that he or she is capable of listening and hearing what you have to say. Also, it's important that your therapist understands the life journey that has helped shape who you are and how you live in the world. MR LMHC® practices Psychotherapy, also known as Talk Therapy, which involves talking about your condition and related issues. During Talk Therapy, you learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behavior. With the insights and knowledge you gain, you can learn coping and stress management skills while improving your mental and physical well-being. Psychotherapy can be successfully completed in a few months, but in some cases, long-term treatment may be needed. It can take place in-person and/or online individually, with family or in a group.
